Baguio City, Philippines – With enough supply of COVID-19 vaccine, Baguio City would soon be administering booster shots for health workers and senior citizens starting November 15, 2021.

Mayor Benjamin Magalong disclosed this in an interview as posted by the Public Information Office of the city.

“We have enough Pfizer for our booster shots and meron din tayong mga AstraZeneca sobra sobra nga ang ating vaccine ngayon eh, madami tayong vaccine,” Magalong said.

He guaranteed that there will be enough booster shots for the health workers and senior citizens.

Meanwhile, the city has donated vaccines to other municipalities in Cordillera and other regions to include Regions 2 and 3.

“We are sharing eh, so we have enough vaccine. At pagdating sa booster shot, I don't think that it would be a problem. Ganun din yung ating mga minors because right now yung mga minors natin we are only authorized to administer Pfizer,” he added.

According to the City Public Information Office, more than 202,708 are now fully vaccinated out of the 281,000 target population.

He then assured the public that the city has a sufficient supply of vaccines for minors.
