Banagao to Bail, Poblacion, Tanudan begins road opening

Tanudan, Kalinga― Through the Local Infrastructure Projects which aim to provide access to better employment and trade opportunities in and outside of the community, a road project in Tanudan worth PhP4 million has begun.BANA― Through the Local Infrastructure Projects which aim to provide access to better employment and trade opportunities in and outside of the community, a road project in Tanudan worth PhP4 million has begun.


The PhP4,890,398.12 worth of road project has been funded through the initiative of Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag which he requested and then granted by Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang. The road project shall open transport from Banagao to Poblacion Mangali, with about 1 kilometer length.


In an interview with John Ryan Awingan, Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag Executive Assistant, he narrated that the opening of the said road shall lessen the time needed for people to reach basic services in their community.

“This will facilitate faster and safer access to school, health centers and tourist spots, and access to farm-to-market road of agricultural products. As-asideg gamin, adda diay via Taloctoc ngem adayu, ken agpatingga lang diay Anggacan, Mangali,” he said.


In addition, Awingan mentioned that widening of the Banagao national road and concreting of Sitio Darulog to Allubaggan farm-to-market road are also on-going.


The widening of the Banagao national road was sourced out on the allocation from national government through the collaborative efforts of Mayor Dagadag and Congressman Mangaoang. Said project is budgeted amounting to 50 million each for 2020 and 2021.

Meantime, Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag said that the improvement of roads has always been his vision for the residents, where they can experience paved roads from their houses to the different areas in the municipality.
