DILG-Kalinga vows support to local vaccination drive

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Department of the Interior and Local Government-Kalinga promised its support to the implementation and monitoring of the province’s COVID-19 vaccination on Saturday, February 19, 2022.


Jack Gamatero of DILG Kalinga, representing DILG Provincial Director Max Mayer Adong, delivered the commitment of their department during the launching of the vaccination for the 5 to 11 age group.

“This launching will signal the start for LGU to pursue the vaccination of 5-11 years old. You will be again expecting our active participation in the monitoring of this vaccination,” stressed the DILG personnel.


DILG-Kalinga commended the provincial government for pursuing Resbakuna Kids geared towards the objective to vaccinate the remaining 30% eligible population (nationwide).

The Department likewise praised the assistance provided by the province and its display of action in support of all local vaccination operation centers.


“Also, our Regional Director appealed to all LGUs to reach out to our constituents especially those with low vaccination rates to convince and prioritize them in this endeavor…and we will be joining you in going to the barangays in the coming days,” he assured.
