Farmer in Tabuk caught selling shabu during buy-bust operation

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Another drug personality in the province was arrested by the Kalinga police in Sitio Maledda, Ipil Thursday night, June 23, 2022 after selling suspected shabu to undercover operatives.

37-year-old suspect Walter Alasco Castillon, a farmer and resident of Barangay Ipil, was nabbed during a buy-bust operation around 9:00 in the evening.

The suspect allegedly sold a small sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,360.

The police further discovered two more small sachets of the same substance from the suspect’s belt bag.

The contrabands have an estimated worth of P4,080.

The suspect was brought to Kalinga Police Provincial Office after on-site inventory of the items taken from him.

This is the fourth drug personality arrested by the Kalinga police this week through buy-bust operations.

The first two suspects were caught on June 20 in Barangays Bulanao and Bulanao Norte while the other one was nabbed on June 21 in Barangay Magsaysay.
