Grade 4 stunner crowned ‘Bituen ti Luna’ 2023

Luna, Apayao – At 9, Shaneah Marie Libantino proved she has the beauty, grace, and wit to win the most coveted crown for young beauties in Luna, Apayao.

Shaneah, an incoming grade 4 pupil at Luna Central School, was crowned ‘Bituen ti Luna’ 2023 on August 01 at BGVJr Memorial Sports Center.

While there’s no denying to her beauty and grace, the girl even more amazed the crowd with her performance in the Question and Answer segment of the competition.

The question thrown at her and to the other 7 beauties by the judges stated, “…kung sakaling ikaw ay papalarin na maging Bituen ti Luna 2023, paano mo ma-impluwensiyahan ang mga anak ng mga magsasaka upang magkaroon ng magandang kinabukasan?”

At her age, Shaneah delivered a laudable answer, saying she would encourage the kids to help and love their parents and also to study harder.

“Sasabihin ko sa kanila na tumulong sila sa kanilang ama o nanay at ipakita nila ang kanilang pagmamahal at mag-aral sila ng mabuti para mapasaya nila ang kanilang magulang,” she said.

Apart from the ‘Bituen ti Luna’ title, Shaneah was recognized as Best in Casual Attire, Best in Ethnic Attire, and Most Articulate.

Kendy Grace Negre, meanwhile, was hailed the 1st runner-up while Richell Mariano was crowned 2nd runner-up.
