Benguet, Philippines – Jordan Mackay Ayawan, a Benguet Electric Cooperative lineman who is among those who were sent to help restore current in Leyte, instantly became an online sensation due to his undeniable good looks.
The new online heartthrob whose photo went viral on Facebook is a 25-year-old native of Kibungan, Benguet and is one among the 15 BENECO personnel who restored electricity in part of Leyte, cut due to the onslaught of Typhoon Odette in December last year.
The viral photo was taken and posted by LEYECO IV this January 21 wherein Ayawan wearing his work clothes was seen walking with tools on both hands while flashing his smile at the camera.
The image then elicited appreciations from the netizens because of his good looks and hard work.
In an interview with Ayawan, he recalled that he was just done working on a post when the photo was captured. He added he never imagined it would ever go viral.
“Haan ko in-expect nga ag viral ma’am. Medyo na kasla nabigla ma’am ta siyempre haan tayo nga expektaren nga ag-viral diay picture ta nu dita ayan tayo [Cordillera] ket kasla normal working day lang kasdiay lang,” he conveyed.
After his photo was circulated online, many are now asking for pictures with him in Leyte.
Meantime, answering the questions of many ladies, Ayawan confirmed that he is single and doesn’t have a girlfriend.
The new online sensation along with his BENECO colleagues is expected to return to Benguet this second week of February.
