Lubuagan, Kalinga - In a statement, Lubuagan Mayor Charisma Anne Dickpus complimented the implementation of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services-National Community Driven Development Program (KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP) in the municipality.

In 2021, there were 9 barangays of Lubuagan that were chosen to benefit from a PhP6.5 million worth of community-based response projects meant to alleviate poverty in the community through DSWD’s KALAHI CIDSS program.

Dickpus thanked and recognized the KALAHI-CIDSS during one of the Local Government Unit’s regular Kapihan sa Munisipyo flag ceremonies this January, saying the program has also strengthened community involvement.

“Nu napansin yu dayta nga KALAHI programs, isu ngay iti pakasolbaran [dagitoy for project nga maiparparit]. Ta nu KALAHI, saan nga maikontrata, [community ti mangitrabaho].
