Tabuk City, Kalinga – Another man linked to the armed robbery that transpired in Tuguegarao last Sunday was arrested in Barangay Bulanao Norte today, November 24, 2022.
According to Tabuk City police, operatives from Tuguegarao and Kalinga launched a hot pursuit operation against the suspects behind the armed robbery in San Gabriel, Tuguegarao City last November 19, 2022.
Suspect Shad Dimara, 36, was tracked in Bulanao Norte and was arrested by the police around 8:10 AM, seven hours after the arrest of a certain Jonathan Talaue who was also said to be behind the robbery.
Dimara was classified by the Tabuk City police as a High Value Individual drug personality who surrendered to authorities on October 19, 2022.
During the course of his arrest, the authorities recovered in his possession two pieces of medium sachets with suspected shabu worth P40,800.
The police also recovered a sub-machine gun Cal. 9mm with markings intratec, Miami, FL, 9mm luger inserted with 16 live ammunition; a magazine loaded with 26 live ammunition; an empty magazine; and 9 pieces of 9mm and Cal. 45 live ammunitions.
Other items recovered from the suspect include a total of P44,210 bills, coins, 300 US dollars, 3 pieces of gun suppressor, cards and passbooks, jewelry, wallets, pouches, bags, drug paraphernalia, and a Yamaha Aerox motorcycle.
After on-site inventory, the suspect was brought to Tabuk City Police Station.
