Isabela cops save man from impending death

Isabela, Philippines – A middle aged man who got drowned while going fishing in the Rang-ayan River in Isabela was given a second life after uniformed personnel, who were then patrolling the area, revived him.


According to the Isabela 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, their personnel was patrolling Barangay Rang-ayan this June 4 when they heard a group of people near the river shouting for help.


The police then rushed to the scene and saw the unconscious 40-year-old man.



The responding personnel immediately administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the victim and tried their hardest to bring him back to life.


“Sila'y hindi tumigil at ginawa ang lahat ng kanilang makakaya kasabay ang pagdadasal upang sagipin at ipanumbalik ang buhay ni Ramon[the victim],” the Isabela 1st PMFC wrote.


After few minutes, the victim gained consciousness. He was brought to the provincial hospital for medical treatment where he is now recovering.
