Tabuk City, Kalinga – Provincial Governor Ferdinand Tubban has directed all local government units in the province to submit immediately their executive orders pertaining to the implementation of the new community quarantine classification, applicable in their areas of responsibilities.

This, he said, is vital for the people, for them to know the new set of guidelines and protocols they will follow, since Kalinga will be shifting from General Community Quarantine to Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) this July.

“Thank God we are at low risk ti Covid-19 and that we are under MGCQ, which means ado ti mabalin tayo maaramid. In line with this, tapno ma-inpormaran dagiti kakailyan, I asked that the LGUs make their executive orders for MGCQ,” he said in a statement.

Tubban is confident that with the vaccination, Kalinga continues to adjust to the new normal, in spite of the new and more infectious variants being detected. Further, he asks the public to remain vigilant, “saan tayo agkompiyansa, dapat ipaganetget latta ti disiplina ken panagtulnog ti protocols.”

Meanwhile, apart from the executive orders of the local government units, Tubban, himself will soon be issuing an Executive Order which will contain the updated provincial MGCQ Guidelines following the latest and updated IATF resolution.

MCGQ is the least stringent among the levels of community quarantine being imposed in the country.
