Korean student who went missing in Baguio City found working in computer shop

Baguio City, Philippines – The Korean student in Baguio City who went missing in December 2021 was reunited with his family after he was found working as a stay-in cashier at a computer shop in the city.


To recall, Jinhun Kim, a then student at the University of Baguio, and a resident of Badihoy St., Barangay Guisad Surong, Baguio City, was reported missing by his worried mother when he did not return home after asking permission to buy Ramen on December 7 last year.


Earlier this week, Baguio City Police Office relayed that they received information from three of his friends, disclosing that he is working as a cashier at a computer shop in T. Alonzo Street, Baguio City.


He was positively identified by his family after the tracker team informed him of his location.

Asked for the reasons for his disappearance, Jinhun Kim provided an unclear answer.


This is already the third time that he went missing, according to an investigation.


Meanwhile, Baguio police assured the public that their stations are always open for those who request assistance and reports of missing individuals in the city.
