Legendary supermodel Tyra Banks stunned by Whang-od’s vogue cover

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A month since she graced the cover of Vogue Philippines, Apo Whang-od has continuously stun known and international figures.

The multi-awarded and oldest ‘mambabatok’ in the Philippines was the face of the April 2023 Vogue Philippines issue. Since the release of the cover, Whang-od made headlines and caught the attention of various personalities in the world.

Among the figures who earlier praised the 106-year-old tattoo artist include Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, American actor and TV host Mario Lopez, and supermodel Gigi Hadid.

This May 9, legendary supermodel Tyra Banks herself also aired her admiration of the magazine cover which she described to have taken her breath away.

Banks is an American television personality, producer, host, writer, and actress. She created the renowned America’s Next Top Model.

“Some magazine covers pull you in and take your breath away. This was one of them for me,” she wrote on her Facebook page.

Banks likewise commended the photographer Artu Nepomuceno saying, “@artnepo, your stunning work stopped me in my tracks. 👏🏽 Bravo. Standing ovation.💛TyTy.”
