Mangaoang commends completion of 2nd Bulanao pedestrian overpass

Tabuk City, Kalinga - Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang through his representative (Regie Wacas) extended his appreciation and recognition for the completion of the Pedestrian Overpass in Barangay Bulanao, especially the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Through the initiative of the Office of the Congressman, funding from the Vehicles User’s Charge (MVUC) amounting to PhP31, 639, 403.24 was allotted for the project. Said amount covers the construction of two pedestrian overpass of which one was earlier completed.

Regie Wacas, representative of the Congressman during the inauguration, commended the dedication of the implementing office, DPWH, for the success of the project despite the challenges and criticisms it had been through.

“If we trace back the construction history na ngay ket kuna tayo nga it was very challenging because of the many nga agsisinupadi nga ideas ket isu dayta ti pang congratulate-an tayo, pangiyebkasan tayo iti congratulations tayo iti DPWH kasi despite all of these challenges, dagitoy criticisms ket naipatakder tayo met lang” he expressed.

He added that the community will eventually realize the significance of the overpass as a support on crossing for safety once the barrier between the roads will be established.

“Haan tayo a makita ti effect na daytoy itatta kasi libre pay lang ti tao nga agko-cross ditoy baba, but eventually kasi nu nirugyan ti DPWH diyay mang-construct iti barrier idiay tingnga, adda dan idiay Mapaoay towards Calanan dayta. Eventually, awan tu ti magna ditoyen ket makita dan tu ti importance na daytoy nga overpass,” he expressed.

Furthermore, Wacas looks forward to more accomplishments on the part of development projects to be achieved for the welfare and progress of the province.

“We look up to DPWH in realizing the objectives of this development plans sunga adda latta ni Congressman kadatayo, kadakayo a DPWH umal-alalay, sumubsubaybay tapno am amin dagiti plano, dagiti anya man nga idanun ti tao a problema kanyana adda ti DPWH a mang-ak- aksyon, mangi- im- implement kin dagitoy a problema dagiti kakailyan tayo,” he said.
