Mayor Dagadag vows swift delivery of gov’t programs with newly procured vehicles

Tanudan, Kalinga-Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag guarantees swift and further delivery of development programs with the newly procured vehicles for the municipality, adding that they shall surely be put to good use.

In an interview with Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, he said that the acquisition of vehicles will definitely fast track the completion of the programs by the local government unit for the constituents as well as in providing the basic government services to the community.

“Ti balak ko amin nga department ti LGU tayo ket maikkan ti lugan tapno maipadanun ti projects ti tattao nga napaspaspas,” he remarked.

“Ar-aramiden tayo amin daytoy para ti pagsayaatan ken pagmayatan ti ili ken tapno haan marigatan ti constituents,” Dagadag added.

The procurement of two (2) pick-up vehicles and one (1) loader amounting ti PhP5 million was sourced out from the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

The pick-up vehicles will be utilized by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO).

He said that the pick-up vehicle will assist the MSWDO staff on easier delivery of the supplies and aid especially to the distant barangays.

Meanwhile the other pick-up will be utilized for the rescue and transport of affected residents in times of calamities by the MDRRMO.

Furthermore, the loader will be of great support on clearing the roads caused by landslides that usually happens during rainy seasons. This is to ensure continuous flow of transportation especially on main roads of the municipality.

Dagadag is looking forward for the procurement of more equipment not only for today’s use but for the future generations.
