'More economic growth with P40M access road to new Pasil Multipurpose Building'- Mayor Malannag Jr.

Updated: Nov 29, 2021

Pasil, Kalinga - The P40 million access road leading to the planned Pasil Municipal Multipurpose Building at Dalimuno, Malucsad, will result in more developments of the component projects such as a market building and district hospital, according to Mayor Alfredo “Chao-ig” Malannag Jr.

Malannag believes the project will bring more economic growth to the barangay and the municipality, commending the cooperation of all yPasil during the groundbreaking ceremony and blessing of the said access road held on November 26, 2021, at Dalimuno, Malucsad, Pasil.

The project, which is part of the P135 million loan of Pasil local government unit from the Land Bank of the Philippines, is in line with the AmBisyon Natin 2040, a collective long-term vision and aspirations of the Filipino people on how the country will be by 2040.

Mayor Malannag stressed that the access road will be the fastest route for the new municipal multipurpose building worth P60 million. With this, the residents will save time and will have easier access to the services offered at the municipal hall.

According to the Engineering Office personnel, the access road measuring approximately 1.4 kilometers is circumferential, meaning it provides multiple transport nodes.

Another P35 million worth of market building will be put up for a one-stop shop. Residents, Malannag said, will no longer need to travel to Tabuk for necessities if Pasil will have its own market building.

Also included in the component projects is the P5 million waterworks system that will be needed for the operation of said buildings.

Further, a district hospital will be situated in the same area to lessen the burden of patients and relatives from having to travel to the provincial hospital in emergency situations.

These, according to Mayor Malannag, are just among the many plans laid by his administration, in which some were delayed with the hesitancy of the stakeholders.

The mayor then encouraged the community to support the programs being provided by the local government in order for the municipality to progress.

“We have so many plans, but we need your assistance. We need your support. Man-adjust tau kuma. Ilan tau kuma nan win-win solution un ancha. Ilan yu pun gobyerno, ilan yu pon long eg yu,” Malannag urged the residents.
