Motorcycle, car plunge into ravine after collision in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Four individuals were injured after a car and a motorcycle fell into a ravine at the Canao bridge after they crashed onto each other night of February 26, 2022.


In a report from the Tabuk City Traffic Management Unit, a Honda Civic was heading towards Bulanao Centro while a Rusi motorcycle was going in the opposite direction past 11:00 at night.


While they were near the Canao bridge at the Tabuk-Bontoc National Road, the two vehicles collided against each other. Due to the impact, both fell into a 10-meter-deep ravine at the side of the road.


The driver of the Honda Civic identified as Police Corporal Edison Galpao, 29, was injured on his right leg and his passenger, Carlo Magsilao, 28, resident of Bulanao Centro, had a head laceration.


On the other hand, the motorcycle rider identified as Elizer Cariazo, 21, resident of Nambucayan, incurred a head injury, while his back rider, Loraine Dulangon, 23, resident of Bulanao Centro, had a fracture on her left foot.


All four were rushed to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital and are now in stable condition.
