Tabuk City, Kalinga — Newly installed Tabuk City Chief of Police (COP), Police Lieutenant Colonel Dinulong Tombali assured that the door of the police is open for everybody and won’t be favoring particular groups.

“Your COP is the COP of everybody, not just of one group. In the same manner, ‘yung PNP niyo, hindi lang PNP ng isang grupo, kundi PNP ng lahat,” he expressed during an interview with Guru Press.

Tombali said that the police force is willing to provide assistance should somebody need them. Therefore, he encouraged the public not to hesitate to seek their help.

“Should you have an incident which you think is reportable to the police, please report it to the police. Your PNP is nandito lang naman kami and we will assist you,” he said.

Tombali assumed office in June 14, replacing PLtCol Radino Belly.

Plans for peace and order

The newly installed COP said he will not deviate from the Chief Philippine National Police, Police General Lorenzo Eleazar’s intensified cleanliness policy that focuses on cleanliness in the office, in the rank, and in the community.

He added that he also wants to sustain what his predecessor has started and laid down for the campaign against illegal drugs in the city. He said, they are going to sustain and intensify their buy-bust, search warrant, and interdiction operations in order, he said for the populace to be insulated from the influence of these illegal drugs.

Moreover, Tombali also said that he and the Traffic Management Unit are identifying the weaknesses and strengths on their response to the rampant vehicular traffic accidents in Tabuk City.

To craft comprehensive measure to address these road accidents, Tombali said they will convene with concerned parties and agencies to discuss the matter.
