New youth officials in Tanudan now set to lead fellow youngsters

Tanudan, Kalinga – The new set of youth officials in Tanudan are now well-equipped to lead their fellow young ones in the next two years following the completion of their mandatory training.

These newly-elected leaders from the 16 barangays of Tanudan underwent the Sangguniang Kabataan Mandatory Training (SKMT) on November 09, 2023 at the Davidson Hotel.

SKMT is a requirement for elected or appointed SK officials before they assume office. This is to fully prepare them to provide excellent services to the youth and to capacitate them in effectively running the youth affairs in their own villages.

Now that these new set of young leaders have taken over in their respective barangays, Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag enjoined them to continue the good deeds their predecessors have started in their area and to introduce further initiatives that would benefit their fellow youth and their community.

“Ti dawat ko kadagiti nangabak ket itul-tuloy da nga tumulong iti ili. Dagiay inar-aramid dagiay inmuna nga SK officers ket itul-tuloy da latta. Kitan da dagiay maikaniwas nga aramid iti il-ili da ta diay iti ireport da met lang iti pulisya tayo ken daytoy munisipyo tayo,” he said.

The mayor also thanked the parents of those who vied for the October 2023 SK polls for doing their part to ensure peaceful and orderly elections.

“Pasalamat tayo kadagitoy ama ken ina da, parents da ta nalinis diay election nga nangyari ken dinawat tayo nga sapay kuma ta nalinis iti election ket kasdiay met nalinis met nga nalpas iti election da,” he said.
