Newly-elected, re-elected provincial officials in Kalinga take oath this June 30

Tabuk City, Kalinga – 10 newly-elected and re-elected provincial officials led by Governor-elect James Edduba are set to take their oath this Thursday, June 30, at the Kalinga Sports Center.


The set of officials will be sworn in by Municipal Circuit Trial Court Presiding Judge Nympha Abbacan.


Other incoming officials to be inducted are Vice-Governor elect Jocel Baac, re-elected Sangguniang Panlalawigan members Shirlynne Alunday, Roger Sagaoc, Mark Aldrich Diasen, Lester Lee Tarnate and Antonio Bakilan.


To join the group are incoming provincial legislators Jay Harley Duguiang, Danzel Langkit, and Julius Amla.

On the said ceremony, arrival honors for the governor-elect will be hosted by PCOL Peter Tagtag Jr, the police provincial director, alongside officers and personnel of Regional Mobile Force Battalion and Kalinga Police Provincial Office.


The members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan shall be given a chance to express their word of thanks while former governors including Lawrence Wacnang, Dominador T. Belac, and Floydelia Diasen are set to give their inspirational messages to the elected officials.

Meantime, aside from the usual Filipiniana and Barong Tagalog, the reception committee of the event set Kalinga laga as the dress code for elected officials and family members taking part in the program.


This aimed at supporting local artisans in Kalinga as well as helping with the promotion of said products to larger markets.
