Office of Cong. Mangaoang extends help to yKalingas with medical, burial needs

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Fernando Cosidon of the Office of the Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang, in an interview this September 18, 2021, said one of Mangaoang's priorities is to provide medical and burial assistance to yKalingas in dire need. This has been done since he took office as a solon.


Cosidon disclosed that the solon has been allocating funds to government hospitals including “National Kidney Institute, National Lung Center, East Avenue Medical Center, then Veterans Regional Hospital now Trauma and Medical Center (R2TMC) in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, and Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC).”


Annual funding has likewise been provided to Baguio General Hospial (BGH), Bontoc General Hospital, and Kalinga Provincial Hospital.

Medical condition of patients who could avail

According to Cosidon, the Office of the Congressman accommodates all types of diseases, especially chronic ones such as cancer and kidney failure.


He said that those in need of medical assistance only have to submit medical records and undergo an interview with the presence of the beneficiary.


The Office of the Congressman will then issue a guarantee letter indicating the amount to be shouldered by the office. The letter will be presented to the cashier of the hospital where the patient is confined.

Congressman Mangaoang is likewise offering burial assistance to indigent residents seeking aid, “like in Mabaca and other barangays.”

Cosidon reiterated that the Office of the Congressman is open to those seeking assistance.

The staff of the Congressman highlighted that expenses are from the taxes of the people and providing assistance is Mangaoang’s way to give back to the community.


“Ti gidyat na kakailyan ket diay sinsiridad nga agsirbi iti maysa nga nabutusan nga mangibaga a nga pagsirbian tayo. Talaga nga ni apo congressman ket adda ti puso na iti masakit isu nga nangaramid kadagiti kastuy nga addang wennu programa,” Cosidon stressed.
