P13M Marijuana seized through joint operation in Kalinga

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Around P13,440,000 worth of suspected Marijuana bricks were seized by operatives from four individuals on board a Black Toyota Innova Wednesday morning, March 10 in Barangay Bantay.

Kalinga Police Provincial Office reported that through intelligence driven joint checkpoint, 112 pieces of Marijuana bricks were confiscated from the suspects identified as Augusto Formales Galicia, 39, a resident of Antipolo City; Eduardo Libao Patiga, 39, resident of Makati City; Wenceslao Formales Galicia, 24, resident of Antipolo City; and John Benedick Esperito Camia, 22, from Cavite.

Onsite inventory and markings of the confiscated illegal drugs were conducted in the presence of the suspects and witnesses.

Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared against the suspects.
