Pudtol is Top 3 Subaybayani Awardee Nationwide

Pudtol, Apayao- The municipality of Pudtol was awarded as Top 3 Subaybayani Awardee nationwide, following its inclusion in the top 10 finalists of the DILG’s 2024 Subaybayani Awards.

Mayor Hector Reuel D. Pascua received the accolades from the Office of Project Development Services (OPDS) on December 3, at the Sequoia Hotel, Aseana in Paranaque City.

Said award was conferred by the DILG to recognize the LGU’s excellent performance in local governance, promoting impactful infrastructure development that leads to meaningful change, accelerating the growth of resilient communities and building the foundation of Matatag, Maginhawa at Panatag na Buhay for residents.

In 2024 alone, Pudtol has efficiently utilized P12,080, 000 budget for infrastructure projects, according to the report from Municipal Engineering Office (MEO).

In his FB post, Mayor Pascua lauded the LGU officialdom and said the award was a result of participatory governance and sustained partnership with various stakeholders fostering inclusive and citizen-centered growth.

This SubayBAYANI Award aimed to set a benchmark for sustainable and citizen-centered development, driving improved public services and long-term local growth, ‘’ he expressed.

In his previous talks, Pascua encouraged the LGU workforce for continued innovation, transparency, inclusivity in infrastructure development and collaboration to harness the spirit of Bayanihan among the townspeople.
