Region CAR Police donate over P2M to their typhoon affected comrades in region 2

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Over P2,042,000 financial assistance from the pockets of Cordilleran police was turned over to the Police Regional Office in region 2 for the uniformed personnel affected by Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses.


According to Kalinga Police Provincial Director PCol. Davy Vicente Limmong, PBGen. R’win Pagkalinawan, PROCor Regional Director in his visit at KPPO this December 2 personally handed said assistance to PBGen. Edgar Cacayan, the Deputy Regional Director for Administration of PRO 2.


“Since adda ditoy ni Regional Director [for the Butbut and Betwagan Peace Dialogue] naisabay naiturn over diay cheque. Adda ngay diyay contribution mi, all policemen in Cordillera to help those victims of the typhoon,” he said.


He added that more than three million pesos were accumulated and that the remaining money from the total amount shall be given to other regions affected by the typhoon.


Other items turned over to Police Regional Office 2 include financial assistance and assorted goods for the typhoon affected families in Cagayan donated by Our Lady of Mt Carmel Montessori School Directress and a member of the PRO COR Regional Advisory Council, Dona Digna Rosario.
