Baguio City, Philippines – Saint Louis University has yet again managed to secure a spot in the list of top-performing schools in the recently-conducted medical technologists board exam.
In the early hours of March 27, the Professional Regulation Commission through Resolution No. 2017 – 1058 (C) series of 2017 announced that 80.60% or 7,309 of the 9,068 examinees passed the March 2024 MedTech Licensure Exam (MTLE).
Said examination was administered on March 21 – 22 in different testing centers in the country where a total of 517 SLU MedTech graduates attempted to get their licenses.
Five days after the test, 98.84%, or 511 SLU takers, managed to make it to the list of passers.
This feat retained SLU’s name in the list of top 10 performing schools as it landed at number four. This batch of passers from the university was not only the largest number to have passed among the March 2024 MedTech board examinees, but also the largest population of MTLE takers in the history of SLU.
For the August 2023 MTLE, SLU ranked first after its 152 alumni delivered a 100% passing rate at the time.
