Stolen motorcycle in Tabuk, found abandoned in Sitio Callagdao, Bulanao

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A stolen motorcycle abandoned in a dense thicket in Sitio Callagdao, Bulanao was returned to its owner on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

 

It was around 1:25 p.m. on the said date when the 1st Kalinga Provincial Mobile Force Company (KPMFC) received a call from a concerned citizen about an abandoned motorcycle.

After verification, the unit together with the Tabuk City Police Station proceeded to the area where they found a black LS135 Rouser Kawasaki motorcycle.

 

The police were able to track and contact the registered owner, who, upon presenting documents to prove ownership, recovered his vehicle.

 

Though it was not formally reported to the police, the owner, as mentioned by the 1st KPMFC to GURU Press Cordillera, claimed that his motorcycle was stolen.

 

1ST KPMFC Acting Commander, PMaj. Dominic Rosario, meantime, acknowledged the concerned citizen who immediately called their attention to the suspected abandoned motorcycle.

 

“This act demonstrates the strong cooperation between the police and the community in the fight against criminality. We urge the public to remain vigilant and to immediately report any suspicious activities to the authorities to help ensure peace and safety in our province,” he expressed.
