Tabuk City, Kalinga – Rescue team from the Bureau of Fire Protection and CDRRMC Tabuk City brought a 29-year-old driver to the hospital following a road accident on Monday afternoon, May 12.

It was around 4:00 p.m. when the BFP, whose personnel were deployed for medical assistance across polling precincts for the 2025 Midterm elections, was alerted to a vehicular traffic accident in Nasgueban, Magsaysay.

Arriving at the scene, they found an L300 vehicle crashed against a tree at the side of the road. The impact of the self-inflicted accident caused the man multiple abrasions on his forehead and lacerations on his left ankle and knee.

The responding team cleaned the victim’s wounds and monitored his vital signs before taking him to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The BFP Tabuk City reminded the public to take precautions when driving and to avoid hitting the road when drunk or sleepy.
