Tabuk City teen caught with P.2M shabu, accomplice escaped

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Operatives in Cagayan arrested an 18-year-old boy from the city after selling and possesing around P200,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Enrile, Cagayan evening of May 4.

Cagayan Police Provincial Office identified the suspect as AKA Jason who is a resident of Barangay Lacnog.

In an initial police report, Cagayan PPO stated, Jason sold a piece of big heat sealed sachet with substance alleged to be shabu to an undercover operative. During his arrest, his companion who was driving a Honda XRM managed to escape from the authorities, leaving him behind.

In the course of the operation, 15 more pieces of big heat sealed sachets and 36 pieces small containing the said illegal substance were confiscated from Jason's possession. These illegal drugs have a dangerous drugs board value of P200,000.

The suspect along with the drug items after inventory of the confiscated pieces of evidence was brought to Crime Laboratory Office 2 for forensic examination.

Jason will be charged for violation of Sec 5 and 11 Art II of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Jason is listed as Street Level Individual drug personality.
