Tabuk SP approves city’s P36 billion AIP for 2022

Tabuk City, Kalinga―The members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of this city has approved over PhP36 billion worth of projects under its Annual Investment Program (AIP) for next year.


The City Development Council (CDC) approved the AIP during their regular meeting on March 02, 2021 through CDC Resolution Number 2021-02. Thereafter, it was transmitted to the august body for review, adoption, and approval last session.


Councilor Atty. Kristian Wandag, Chairman of Committee on Research, Planning, and Development, has moved for the approval of its committee report on their regular session today, March 29.


The 2022 AIP has a total resource requirement of PhP36,085,680,039.62.

PhP2,325,880,425.44 (7%) is allocated for the General Public Services, PhP3,728,577,647.25 (10%) for Social Services, PhP29,590,532,969.94 (82%) for Economic Services and PhP440,689,000 (1%) for other services.


This constitutes the total resource requirements for all the different Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) as planned by the different sectors.


PPAs in the subject AIP were culled-out from the 2020-2022 Local Development Investment Program (LDIP) of the city government which was previously approved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

Moreover, the top ten (10) priority programs and projects for 2022 which were identified and submitted by the different barangays were also included. Also included were those unfunded PPAs from the 2021 AIP.


2022 AIP has sufficiently identified the PPAs that are necessary and important in the pursuit of the continuing development of the city.
