Tanudan Municipal sub-office under temporary lockdown, some employees tested positive

Tanudan, Kalinga – To prevent possible Covid-19 transmission, the Tanudan Municipal Sub-office in Barangay Mabaca was placed under temporary lockdown, while the municipal employees were mandated to work from home from January 13 to 14.


With the temporary lockdown, all the employees, except the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, the Tanudan Emergency Response Unit, and those assigned to conduct disinfection and contact tracing, shall be under a work from home arrangement on the aforementioned dates.


The on-site work shall resume on Monday, January 17.

This order was made by Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag through Executive Order No. 2 s. 2022 after some of the municipal employees assigned there tested positive with rapid antigen test conducted on January 12.


In a statement, Mayor Dagadag conveyed that the health of employees is a paramount concern and putting a measure to avoid transmission within the workforce is a priority.

“Iti priority tayo latta ket daytoy health iti empleyado ken constituents iti Tanudan. Dapat isigurado tayo nga haan da maakaran ken nu man adda nag-positive ket tapnu haan nga umadu nga dagus iti kaso ken maakaran na,” he said.


As of January 12, there is one confirmed Covid-19 active case in Tanudan.
