Vice Mayor Dao-as lauds SP’s commitment to public service

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Vice Mayor Bernard Glen Dao-as on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, commended the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod for the two and a half year services as a legislative body of the City Government of Tabuk.

According to Dao-as, the 579 resolutions passed by the council from 2019 up to this year are proof that the SP members have always been committed to their duty as legislators of the city.

As reported by the City Vice-Mayor’s Office, the council passed 180 resolutions and 1 ordinance in 2019; while in 2020, the legislative body was able to push the passage of 195 resolutions and 12 ordinances.

As for this year, from January to October, the body was able to pass 204 resolutions and 14 ordinances.

“579 nga resolusyon ti naipasa manipud July 2019 inggana October 2021. 26 nga ordinansa ti dagup manipud 2019 ken nagpatingga idi napalabas nga bulan,” the Vice Mayor’s office reported.

With the said number of resolutions and ordinances, VM Dao-as expressed hope that the council will further enact additional resolutions and ordinances before the campaign and election period next year.

As for the Vice-Mayor, Dao-as said that he will continue to serve as the ‘eye’ and the ‘voice’ of Tabukeños for them to be informed on matters the people should know and committed that he shall continue to perform his mandate as a public servant.
