“Without the media, we will lose track of what’s happening,”- Cong. Mangaoang

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Expressing his support to the local media, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang, Representative of the Lone District of Kalinga, highlighted the role of the media in nation-building.

“Actually, media should be a partner of the government in nation-building kasi without the media, we will lose track of what is happening,” stressed Mangaoang during a press conference with the Office of the Congressman held on March 12, 2022, at Prime Ville Aurora Resort and Events Center.

The Press, according to the congressman, plays an important role as a source of information, especially to the remote areas in the province.

Thanking the organizers of the press conference, Mangaoang asked the support of the local media to meet with him on a quarterly basis, as an opportunity to interact and provide an opportunity to report to the people the activities and accomplishments of his office in Congress.

The Office of the Congressman, he assured, is willing to sit down with the members of the media, as he always did.

The pioneering set of officers of the newly organized Kalinga Media (KaMe), from both private and government media outfits, were selected in the same event.
