Meanwhile, according to KPPO Director PCol. Davy Vicente Limmong, they have started receiving complaints of cybercrime from people, this perhaps, he said could be attributed to the increasing awareness of individuals on their rights and about this crime.

Moreover, Limmong calls on individuals especially the youth who experience cyber bullying to report the incident to the police and not to keep the case to themselves that can lead to depression and suicide as there is an alleged case of suicide due to this matter.

“We are also calling those who are victims of cybercrime and cyber bullying especially the youth that they should not take it seriously on themselves na at the end magiging source of depression that they tend to take their own life. If their rights are violated, they should contact us, we’ll help them file cases,” he said.
