130 households in Tinglayan and Lubuagan receive gifts from Vice-President’s Office

Tabuk City, Kalinga – In this spirit of giving, two more municipalities in Kalinga received gifts from the Office of Vice President Sara Duterte.

 

Following the gift-giving event in Tanudan last month, the OVP held the same activity in Upper Bangad, Tinglayan on December 18 and in Poblacion, Lubuagan on December 21, 2023.

 

On said date, 130 households in Upper Bangad received gift packs, while 334 indigent residents in Poblacion received a sack of rice, canned goods, and spaghetti packs.

 

Upper Bangad Punong Barangay Leo Dangi thanked the OVP for granting presents to the households in his barangay and for choosing their village as one of the recipients of their year-end gift giving saying, “dakkel nga tulong ti tumunggal pamilya daytoy naited nga gift pack.”

 

For his part, Poblacion Punong Barangay Adrian Duguiang conveyed that the grocery items and rice received by his people not only brought joy but also made them feel cherished and not alone this Holiday season.

 

“These gift packs do not only bring joy to the hearts of the underprivileged families in my barangay but will also remind them that they are not alone during this festive season. This endeavor will make a significant difference in the lives of our residents,” he said.
