Kalinga jabs 14,291 on National Vaccination Days

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A total of 14,291 individuals in Kalinga were inoculated during the ‘Bayanihan Bakunahan’ or National Vaccination Days held from November 29 to December 1, 2021.


This is 40.08% of the 35,000-target population set for the three-day vaccination.


Of the total inoculated individuals, 6,588 are from the city of Tabuk, 3,214 are from Rizal, 2,645 from Pinukpuk, 461 from Tanudan, 440 from Tinglayan, 346 from Pasil, 301 from Lubuagan, and 296 from Balbalan.


The Provincial Health Office led by Edward Tandingan in partnership with health workers and officials from the different municipalities and the city vaccinated 5,310 on the first day, 2,977 on the second, and 6,004 on the third.


With newly vaccinated individuals included, 109,165 of the 155,095 target population already received their first dose while 45,930 remain unvaccinated.

Governor Ferdinand Tubban and other authorities call for the community to take advantage of the vaccines that the government is offering for their protection.


Minimum public health protocols, officials say, must also be observed at all times to prevent, if not minimize, the spread of COVID-19.
