2 armed men robbed P1.09M from express riders in Isabela

Santiago City, Isabela – More than one million pesos was forcefully taken from two express riders who were on their way to deposit their collection at a bank in Santiago City on January 5, 2022.


The Police Regional Office 2 identified the victims as Jerick Tangalin Bilog, 25, resident of Purok 3, Rizal, Santiago City and Ginalyn Flores Lorenzo, 22, resident of Purok 5, Divisoria. Both are employees of J and T Express.


According to the police report, the two were on their way to deposit their collection amounting to P1,094,000 at Metrobank in Santiago City when two armed riders cornered them along the Perez St. in Villasis and took the money.

On board a motorcycle, the suspects managed to escape and are now being tracked by Philippine National Police- Santiago City.


Reports say that a CCTV footage now serves as the lead for the authorities in identifying the robbers in the ongoing investigation.
