21-yr.-old dies in tragic motorcycle collision in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – There was no sign of life detected from a 21-year-old man from Pangol, Tanudan after sustaining serious injuries from a road accident that happened on Friday, February 13, along the Provincial Road in Bulanao.

 

The man was fatally injured when two motorcycles in Purok Datu collided around 10:35 p.m. A witness said the two vehicles were travelling from opposite directions – one to Bulanao and the other to Dagupan – when they crashed head on.

 

Bureau of Fire Protection Tabuk City, who responded to the incident, found the 21-year-old victim unconscious, had negative pulse, and was no longer breathing. He was further described to have sustained a fractured right foot and punctured wound on his left abdominal area.

 

He was resuscitated by the responding authorities from BFP and Tabuk City CDRRMO and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.

 

Meanwhile, there were two other men who were also injured from the incident – a 20-year-old man from San Juan, Tabuk City and a 28-year-old man from Lubo, Tanudan. The 20-year-old sustained multiple abrasions while the 28-year-old sustained wounds on some part of his body and abrasion on his face. Both received first aid from the responding authorities before they were brought to the hospital for further medical care.
