Baguio City, Philippines – A 28-year-old man fell into the hands of the authorities in Baguio City after selling a suspected stolen cellphone on October 4, 2022, at Malcolm Square.

The suspect who was identified by the police as a certain Mohammad Mamangcong Ali, a resident of Upper P. Burgos, Baguio City, was nabbed in an entrapment operation, the Philippine National Police Cordillera reported.

The said operation was launched against the suspect after an 18-year-old victim reported to the Baguio City Police Office about a cellphone being sold online by a certain ‘SunSun Santos’. The victim claimed that the gadget is similar to his cellphone which was stolen.
