10-wheeler truck topples over, crushes 3 vehicles in Baguio City

Baguio City, Philippines – Three individuals suffered from abrasions following a road accident caused by a ten-wheeler truck 9 AM of Wednesday, August 23, near Teacher's Camp in Baguio City.

While traversing Leonard Wood Road, the heavy-duty truck loaded with chicken dung got stuck while moving upward until it pulled back and later toppled over, crushing three vehicles, and resulting in severe damages.


One of those damaged was a taxi driven by Enrique Basilio Topacio, 62, a resident of Pinsao Proper, Baguio City.


The two other vehicles were private cars driven by Robert Jucar Galvez and Joel Padawil.


The accident resulted in three victims suffering from minor injuries. They received first aid from rescuers who quickly proceeded to the area before they were ferried to the hospital to seek medical attention.

One victim was identified as Arleen Buyson Bermudo, while two others, both males, were not yet named by authorities.


Meantime, the report said the driver of the truck identified as Roger Tulabis Tulaban, 41, a resident of Pico, La Trinidad, is now working with police officers for the hospitalization charges of the victims.
