4 injured in Bado Dangwa, Tabuk motorcycle collision

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Four individuals ended in the hospital after the two motorcycles they were riding collided Sunday afternoon, March 20,2022 along the Mt. Province – Kalinga National Road in Barangay Bado Dangwa, Tabuk City.


Investigation of the Traffic Management Unit – Tabuk City disclosed that a red Honda motorcycle driven by Martin Dalyagan, 29, with his back rider Fernando Balani Dulagan, 38, was travelling from Barangay Bantay towards Barangay Bado Dangwa, while a black Honda motorcycle driven by Rexie Velasco Rombaua, 32, and back rider Froilan De Guzman Castro, 30, was coming from the opposite direction.

Upon reaching a curve portion of the national road, the two motorcycles collided sending the riders sprawled on the road.


The police investigation further showed that most of the blood and debris were discovered on the lane of the black motorcycle, indicating an encroachment on the part of the red motorcycle.

Moreover, the black motorcycle remained on its lane, facing the direction of Barangay Bantay, and bystanders attested that the vehicle was not moved by anyone.


All four injured riders were given first aid and were rushed to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital by the responding team from the Bureau of Fire Protection Kalinga, Tabuk City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and the 503rd Infantry Brigade.


Said victims are now in a stable condition, according to their attending physician.
