6 iKalingas complete PMA journey (Siklab Laya Class of 2025); now with AFP as commissioned officers

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Six Kalinga sons and daughters are among the newly-commissioned officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines after they successfully completed their four-year painstaking journey at the Philippine Military Academy on Saturday, May 17.

 

The PMA, on said date, held its graduation rites for 266 cadets who are members of the “Siklab Laya” Class of 2025 – 212 are male cadets while 54 are female.

 

Of the figure, six are from Kalinga. They are 2Lt. Hannah Ranelle Dedoro Agtina of Tabuk City; 2Lt. Almighty Gee Pelila Sawad, Tinglayan; 2Lt. Carlos Dumawa Pasiwat III, Rizal; 2Lt. Hennalyn Grete Chulsi Sano, Tinglayan; 2Lt. Mark Kevin Wangi Soriano, Tinglayan; and 2Lt. Rhem Thomas Nicolo Uggas of Pinukpuk.

 

Four of them will be part of the Philippine Army, one will be assigned at the Philippine Air Force, and the other will be entering the Philippine Navy.

 

Joining these 6 iKalingas are 14 other Cordilleran cadets. They are 2Lt. Kint Poltic Pinas of La Trinidad, Benguet (Cum Laude); 2Lt. Danielle Kate Chaokas Bobola, Bontoc, Mountain Province; 2Lt. Leomar Ahl Luis Bosongan, Baguio City; 2Lt. Samuel Ekid Tay-og, Bontoc; 2Lt. Ayson Glenn Aswit Aowes, Bontoc; 2Lt. Brix Jones Bayang Laging, Sagada; 2Lt. Aji Masidong Bayongasan, Bauko; 2Lt. Gideon Toyoken Besay, Sagada; 2Lt. Tracy Anselmo Agbuya Miranda, Baguio City (Athletic Saber); 2Lt. Althea Ricci Dela Raga Padilla, Tuba, Benguet; 2Lt. Ryszard Lance Bugtong Pecay, Buguias, Benguet; 2Lt. Cyril Manzon Resultay, La Trinidad; 2Lt. Alvin Arizon Bellan, Bauko; and 2Lt. Darwin James Tokoyen Rullan of Baguio City.
