₱800K worth of bills and rising: Family seeks help for Isabela Rider struck by car in Delfin Albano

Delfin Albano, Isabela — A 32-year-old resident of Purok 4, Barangay San Nicolas, Delfin Albano, Isabela, is set to undergo three surgical procedures after sustaining severe leg injuries in a road accident. His family is now appealing for financial assistance as medical expenses are expected to reach nearly ₱800,000.

Lloyd Allapitan-Pascua Jr. is currently confined at The Premier Medical Center in Manila. According to a clinical abstract obtained from his live-in partner, Shenna Casimiro, Pascua was riding his motorcycle near Terminal 1 of the airport in Pasay City on June 18 when he passed through an intersection without a traffic signal and was struck by a sedan approaching from the left.

The impact threw him off his motorcycle, causing serious injuries to both legs, including heavy bleeding from his left leg.

Medical records show that Pascua sustained displaced fractures of his right tibia and fibula, as well as multiple open fractures involving the second to fifth metatarsal bones of his left foot.

In an interview, Casimiro said Pascua was immediately admitted to the hospital and underwent emergency treatment. However, additional surgeries are required. She said doctors have scheduled three procedures for his left foot beginning June 22, while his right leg will require a separate operation involving the insertion of metal implants once his condition stabilizes.

“…in pain po talaga sya and yung left foot nya need po operahan. Bale three procedures po siya… mag-start po on Monday. Then yung right leg niya naman po, need po lagyan ng bakal. To follow po yung right leg, kasi mas need po unahin yung left nya,” she said.

As of June 20, Lloyd remained hospitalized and under close medical observation. While his condition is stable, his family said the anticipated costs of surgeries, hospitalization, medications, and rehabilitation have placed a significant financial burden on them.

The family is now seeking financial assistance from relatives, friends, and kind-hearted individuals to help cover the costs of his treatment and recovery. They are also requesting prayers for Lloyd’s successful surgeries and speedy recovery.

“He [Pascua] still needs to undergo several surgeries on his both legs. Any amount you can give will be appreciated and will help with his medical expenses and recovery. Thank you so much for your kindness and support,” Casimiro said.
