9 Kalinga MSMEs showcase products at DTI Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair 2024

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Kalinga local products, particularly those made by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), are now being showcased on the national stage through the 2024 DTI Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair.


Hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry, the fair serves as a celebration of innovation and craftsmanship.


The event is being conducted from August 21 to 25 at the Megatrade Halls 1-3 of SM Megamall.


Among hundreds of exhibitors from across the country are 9 MSMEs in Kalinga, those who are mostly involved in selling woven fabrics.


These include Vanessa J’s Handicraft and Pasalubong Products, IFKA’s Weaving and Handicrafts, Cultura De Kalinga Fashion Boutique, Carol Lines Ethnic Fashion, Jajie’s Native Fashion, Kalinga Tapis Handloom, and Kristine Jhada’s Fashion Accessories Trading.


Through the fair, the agency hopes an enhanced marketability of the products of the exhibitors. Additionally, iKalinga entrepreneurs expect to connect with a broader market.

Meantime, another trade fair in Pampanga called Negosyo Agraryo Trade Fair is also featuring other Kalinga MSMEs which include Keshzianas Textile Weaving Services,Donsan’s Weaving, Kalif Apparel Shop, Changoy Beader’s Association. The fair shall conclude this August 23.
