For years, Dr. Casey Magne Dumlao has transformed lives one smile at a time.
Inside her dental clinic in Bangued, Abra, she has dedicated her profession to restoring confidence through oral healthcare. At home, she has embraced the challenges and joys of raising a child as a single mother. Today, those same values of compassion, perseverance, and service have taken her beyond the walls of her clinic and onto the national stage.
The proud daughter of Abra has been crowned Mrs. Universe Philippines – Western Philippines 2026, proving that true beauty is measured not only by elegance but also by purpose, resilience, and the lives one chooses to uplift.
A crown earned through purpose
Dr. Casey received the regional title during the Mrs. Universe Philippines 2026 coronation held at The Manila Hotel on June 28.
Mrs. Universe Philippines is one of the country's premier pageants for married women and single mothers. More than a beauty competition, it celebrates women who have distinguished themselves through professional excellence, leadership, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and meaningful contributions to their families and communities. It also serves as the country's selection platform for the international Mrs. Universe pageant.
Representing Abra among delegates from across the Philippines and overseas Filipino communities, Dr. Casey brought more than beauty to the competition. She carried with her the culture, identity, and quiet strength of the province she proudly calls home.
Her remarkable performance earned her the title of Mrs. Universe Philippines – Western Philippines 2026, along with an impressive list of accolades, including Fourth Overall Finalist, Best in Tourism Video, Face of Montessa Aesthetic Clinic, Face of Alta Skin, and the Heart of Gold Award.
The recognitions reflected not only her grace on stage but also the authenticity of her advocacy and the inspiring story she shared throughout the competition.
The woman behind the crown
Long before she wore a sash and crown, Dr. Casey had already embraced the role she treasures most—that of a mother.
As a proud single parent, she has balanced the demands of motherhood with the responsibilities of running the Dumlao Dental Clinic in Bangued, where she continues to champion oral health and holistic wellness for women and children.
She believes that every restored smile represents more than healthy teeth. It restores confidence, dignity, hope, and self-worth—principles that have shaped both her profession and her advocacy.
Those values naturally became part of her pageant journey, where she demonstrated that beauty is strongest when paired with compassion and service.
Dr. Casey's achievement is more than a personal milestone.
For Abra, her victory shines a national spotlight on a province whose people continue to excel in various fields through determination, talent, and heart. It also adds another Cordilleran woman to the growing list of leaders who are redefining beauty by combining intelligence, professional excellence, cultural pride, and community service.
Her story sends a powerful message to aspiring professionals, single parents, and young women—that life's greatest challenges need not limit one's dreams.
While she now wears a crown, Dr. Casey's mission remains unchanged. She returns to Abra not only as a beauty queen but also as a dentist, entrepreneur, devoted mother, and advocate committed to serving her community and empowering others.
For Dr. Casey Dumlao, the crown is not the destination. It is another opportunity to heal, inspire, and remind others that the most beautiful lives are those lived in service to others.
