Tabuk City, Philippines – Baguio City’s swan boats, one of the iconic rides at the Burnham Park were transported to flood-stricken areas in Amulung to help rescue families affected by flood due to Ulysses.

According to the Philippine National Police – Cordillera, the owner of the boats, Vivian Celso, despite her business being affected by the Covid-19 crisis expressed her desire to help in the recue operation in Cagayan, thus lending her swan and pontoon boats.

“...the boat owner did not hesitate to lend her source of livelihood to help our distressed “kakailyans” in Cagayan,” the post reads.

The boats can ferry 10 people at a time.

Meanwhile, the Bayanihan spirit is showing an outpour of support with several groups conducting donation drives to help the people in Cagayan who are deeply affected by the massive flooding, the worst that happened in the province in decades.

Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba, through Cagayan Provincial Information Office, assured that all of the relief and help both from the government and other sectors will be given to the people.
