Cadaver found in Pidigan, Abra still unidentified

Abra, Philippines – Investigation is still ongoing to identify the lifeless body of a female found in Barangay Mongoc, Pidigan, Abra on Sunday morning, April 18, 2022.

Philippine National Police – Abra reported the victim sustained a single stab wound to the chest which was believed to be the cause of death.

According to the authorities, the victim is around 4’7” tall, wearing maroon leggings, blue and pink striped black sweatshirt, black slippers. The victim also has a gold plated ring with shoulder-length hair.

Further investigation is being conducted by the Pidigan Municipal Police Station to determine the motive behind the killing.

Investigators are likewise trying to determine if the cadaver was killed in the area or was just thrown there.

“Kami po ay nananawagan sa mga kamag anak ng nasabing biktima na magtungo sa Pidigan Municipal Police Station o tumawag/magtext sa numerong 09273881152 para sa karagdagang impormasyon tungkol sa biktima,” appealed PNP-Abra.
