Cong. Mangaoang allocated almost P1B fund to Tanudan projects

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Since 2017, a year after he took office, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang has allocated almost P1 billion fund for the implementation of projects in the municipality of Tanudan.


Former Board Member Ruben Tuazon reported this as he delivered the congressman’s message during the groundbreaking of the Improvement of Banneng – Darulog – Bawac Farm-to-Market Road held on April 22, 2022.


Tuazon identified the projects in Tanudan funded through the initiative of Mangaoang with a total amount of P988,268,000.

He underscored that the release of the funds have not been made possible without the support of the provincial government under the leadership of Governor, Engr. Ferdinand Tubban.


“Dagitoy ngay ket, saan nga mailakad ni Apo Congressman nu awan ti full support ti provincial government. Pagyamanan tayo ta Number 1 nga sumop-suporta ni Gov, ni Vice-Governor ken Board Members,” remarked Tuazon.


Tanudan projects funded by the Office of Congressman Mangaoang


In 2017, seven projects in the municipality were provided with P70,268,000. Among these are Tabuk-Banaue via Tanudan-Barlig Road with P77,680,000, Cogawe Bridge with P380 million, Construction of Aliganggang Flood Control, Lower Lubo with P8 million, Bawac-Dupligan Road with P8 million, Bucao-Poblacion, Tanudan FMR with P7 million, DongyaranFootbridge, Lay-asan with P1 million, and Column Footbridge with P500,000.

Another P78 million was funded for Continuation of the Tabuk-Banaue via Tanudan-Barlig Road in 2018. In the same year, the said office funded Se-et Bridge with P10 million, Tanudan bridge with P100 million, and Lubo Elementary School FMR with P8 million.


Moreover, Mangaoang sourced out P21 million more for the Continuation of the Tabuk-Banaue via Tanudan-Barlig Road in 2019 along with P20 million for Bawac-Banneg Access Road, P4 million for Construction of Cuyo-Poblacion-Mangali Road, P3 million for Construction of Gaang Flood Control, P3 million for Construction of Taggam FMR, and P1 million for Rehabilitation of Pagugo Footbridge.

The funding for the Tabuk-Banaue via Tanudan-Barlig Road continued in 2020 with additional P67 million. The office gave Bawac-Banneng Access Road with P20 million, Construction of Bawac Fllod Control along Biga River, Dupligan with P15 million, Construction of Banagao Road with P5 million, and Construction of Waterworks in Upper Taloctoc with P1 million.


In 2021, P248 million was again allocated for Continuation of the Tabuk-Banaue via Tanudan-Barlig Road, P25 million for Construction of Tanudan Level 2 Watersupply Project, P10 million for Bawac-Banneng Access Road, and P1 million for Construction of Pagugo MPP with P1 million.
