Tanudan, Kalinga― With Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag handing over the lot donation from Tanudan Local Government of Unit (LGU) for the building of Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Tanudan Fire Station represented by Acting Tabuk City Fire Marshal SINSP Ronald Rivera this November 23, it is expected that the construction of BFP building there shall commence soon.
This was mentioned during the turn over of legal documents. Said donated land has an area of more than 1,000 square meters. A building worth P7.3 million budget shall be erected for a fire station.
The lot is the counterpart of LGU- Tanudan for the establishment of the BFP- Tanudan Fire Station which shall be located at Sitio Banagao, Barangay Poblacion. Funding of the building shall come from the national government or the BFP Fire Codes Revenues Special Fund.
The acceptance of lot donation was attended by Executive Assistant John Ryan Awingan, Municipal Treasurer Tanding Tocyapao, SFO1 Antonio Dumalan, and Tanudan Municipal Fire Prevention Officer F01 Eleazar Soga-ang.
Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag narrated that they have yearned for the building of fire station in the municipality to house BFP personnel and install their equipment to allow the fastest response possible to the needs of constituents.
“Pulos awan pay ti building mi, awan ti truck mi, isuna na lang pay ti BFP personnel nga adda idiay, isuna lang maymaysa na sunga nu adda puor awan ti usaren mi kaspangarigan. Nu adda puor, dagiyay agkakaruban ah ti agtitinnulong, ket mas delikado pay diay ayan mi ta dikit dikit ti balbalay,” he narrated.
In addition, they are waiting for the fire truck requested by Municipal Fire Prevention Officer F01 Eleazar Soga-ang.
The deed of donation will be forwarded to the BFP-CAR for signing by Regional Director Sr. SUPT. Leonida Gumanab-Rosales, MM. Afterwards, the releasing of the national fund for the construction of the building shall take place.
