Cordillera College ranks 6th in November 2022 Midwife Licensure Exam

Benguet, Philippines – With an overall passing rate of 90 percent, Cordillera Career Development College, or Cordillera College ranked sixth among the top-performing schools in the November 2022 Midwife Licensure Examination, announced the Professional Regulation Commission on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022.

In the official result released by the commission, all 15 first-time exam takers from Cordillera College passed while two out of the five repeaters failed.


Iris Hope Basalong Alilao, one of the MLE passers from the college, made it to the Top 10 among the 1,768 passers out of the 3,472 examinees nationwide.


Alilao who garnered a rating of 88.55 percent is a scholar of the Department of Health – Cordillera, as disclosed by CCDC.


The other passers from said school are Aglyn Aban, Jesiebelle Agongan, Jhyril Balong, Jeverlyn Bawas, Rocel Bolislis, Albert Buayen, Sefra Canuto, Berna Mae Casinto, Leahlyn Cornelio, Lheany Dongnga-as, Lorna Fuchigami, Myrna Gay-yaman, Emmy Lou Lee, Julie Locutan, Darel Padtoc, Jeniah Fe Segundo, and Lyn Tiwatiw.


With its achievement, the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera congratulated the college and its topnotcher alumnus.

Other Top-Performing Schools in November 2022 MLE


With a passing rate of 100 percent, Cavite State University emerged as the top-performing school in the board examination.


Other top-performing institutions are the University of the Philippines School of Health and Sciences – Leyte (97.06 percent), Sultan Kudarat State University – Tacurong (94.59 percent), Davao Medical School Foundation (92.59 percent), University of Northern Philippines – Vigan (90.32 percent), Mary Chiles College (86.67 percent), Occidental Mindoro State College (84.71 percent), Tagoloan Community College (83.87 percent), and North Luzon Philippines State College – Candon (82.76 percent).
