Baguio City, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission -CAR (CSC) is reminding those who applied for the 2020 Career Civil Service Examination Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) that was canceled due to the pandemic to come to the agency’s offices to refund their examination fee.
Amid their continuous information dissemination, CSC Benguet Field Director Josefina Tamondong, as reported by Mt. Province Broadcasting Corporation, said only 400 applicants from Benguet were able to refund their fee. She said most have not yet visited their office or even reached them online for the refund.
Tamondong explained that they only give the applicants until the end of 2021 to refund said fee; therefore, she said, they are urging them to come to the nearest CSC-CAR regional and field offices or visit their online portal.
She added that the applicants may also visit the CSC official Facebook page for more details on how to process the refund.
Tamondong also stressed that the application fee for 2020 CSE-PPT cannot be used for the next career service examination once the date of refund ended.
It can be recalled that the Commission has started returning said fee in May this year via online or in the office.
Cordillera has at least 9,000 2020 CSE-PPT applicants who need to refund their examination fee.
The Career Civil Service Examination Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) is deferred until further notice in view of the still unstable situation brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
