Cyclone Aircraft bound for Palanan, Isabela reported missing


Isabela, Philippines – A light aircraft went missing while heading to Palanan, Isabela on Thursday, Nov. 30, authorities confirmed.

The Cyclone Aircraft with tail number RP-C 1234 disappeared after it took off from Cauayan Airport at about 9:39 a.m. today, stated the Cauayan Airport Police Station.


The plane which was expected to arrive at Palanan airport 25 minutes after leaving, lost its communication with the Cauayan airport tower before it went missing.


The aircraft was piloted by Captain Levy N. Abul II, with a passenger on board.


Coordination is being made among concerned authorities to locate the missing Cyclone Aircraft.
